  1. I get sea sick also and travel calm is a must for me but like others have said the make your reallly drowsy so what i do is take another table called No-dose which you can buy from the supermarket. Its got hi dose of caffine which in my mind counters the sleepy effort on top of that have a can of red bull and you be right till midday.
  2. Tha's sensational footage guys! Should start doin your own fishing program and put it on ch TVS
  3. Niceeeeee . You guys are hardcore. Day trip to SWR is epic How many cases of red bull did you drink to get there and back? lol
  4. Thanks for the report mate. Very Solid kings! Seems like this yr is a ripper for big kings off sydney!
  5. Its your boat vs my boat buddy. You might aswell order me a certate hyper custom 4000 now.
  6. I recently brought my first bait runner which was the shimano thunnus 4000 ci4 and i can happily say it feels like a great reel so far. I tend to stick with my daiwa's more so for me to say shimano is great is huge .Havent caught anything huge to put it to the test yet but from what ive seen from the D series it surely will do well.
  7. dangas it looks like your king is only 99cm. Keep trying buddy
  8. This is my setup. I acutally had to make a whole new burley bucket due to my bro in law forgettin to put the pin from the bracket! Some pvc tube and aluminium does wonders I actually can slide my bucket fully out of the water or too a preset deep where i put some SS screws in it also holds the bucket in the bracket without sliding down and find a new home on the bottom of the sea bed. again!
  9. hey albs I heard that fingal bay goes off.
  10. hey, Might be not the info that you want to hear but I had a eagle/lowrance combo b4 i brought my furuno gp7000 and to be honest i like the lay out of my eagle gps more then the gp7000. But the furuno fish finder definitely makes up for any down sides. My2c
  11. That is solid! Didnt know kings get that big off syd these days!
  12. hey, Lucky you as i had one of these for my first fish finder units, which i still have the manual on my shelf! Cant say much about the unit tho I think your only option is to reset as would most units. It says "reset options does not erase any wayspoints, routes, plots trails or sonar logs" So why not. Let me know if you need instructions to reset. I take a pic and post it up for you. cheers
  13. hey, Out of that list i for sure would pick the yammie 90hp 2 stroke for a coulpe reasons. 1. biggest hp output from your list. 2. reliable. I personally like 4 strokes but 60 to 70hp jus aint goin to cut it out there. my2cents
  14. That was Epic but could of been Epic FAIL also.
  15. That is awesome footage man especially the last bit with the yabbie
  16. Im definitely fixing it the the proper way im not a fan of cover ups.. I dont want to be 20kms off shore when my engine catches on fire Found a site in the states that have my part for half the price! Woo hoo
  17. Hey man. The local tackle near me has this for sale Humminbird Matrix 87c..sounder/gps combo full colour.500watt rms transducer..(exclude SD mape card)for $1200. Pm if your want more details.
  18. Thanks obey will definitely do more checks b4 i buy a new rectifier. http://moto-catalog.ru/obj/files/1601.pdf For the ppl that own a F100aet i Found this link that was very useful in finding part numbers.
  19. hey aquaman, Yeah i had searched FR and that thread did pop up which i had read through it. Ive have Pm Obey1 for more info but he hasnt replied to me yet. He didnt state if his motor was a 2 or 4 stroke so not sure if the rectifier is different to mine?? The bloke at the local dealer said that yammaha didnt release a 90hp in 4 stroke. So im tryin to search up more info about that. Can anyone else help?? Thanks.
  20. Hey guys, Took the boat out on the weekend and saw my volt meter flashing very high, 17v at one stage. My furuno volt meter comfirmed that too so i guess my rectifier/regulator is gone. Its a shame tho as my engine has only done 450 hrs i was expecting these electrical stuff to last much more Ive been quote $400 from my local dealer jus for the part but me beening me im searching somewhere cheaper. Has anyone brought genunie yammie parts from the states or from yamaha outboard forums or similar?? Be great if anyone can shed some of these experience in this matter. TIA, LH
  21. Hey fisho Been out of the water since snow has fallen over our alpine's but since the snow has almost melted im back out in the glorious blue ocean of ours . I had brought a furuno fcv 585 to run with my gp7000 and finally tested it on the water on friday. Money well spent and i cant ask for anything more from this unit! Im havin one problem that im not sure is right. When im in manual range and zooming in a certin depth say im in 100mtrs and i zoom in the first 50mtrs the sounder reads out a incorrect depth and sometimes doesnt read anything it all. Picture is showing fine tho. Is that normal?? Because i notice that on my gp7000f too and im thinking that my transducer is faulty. how ever after playin with the new toy i saw a few big marks on the sounder and mannage to pull one of them up. Fattest 90cm king ive seen in my life. Furuno you have made my life so much better.
  22. greg, Depending on the size and shape of your haul. What boat do you have anyways?
  23. hey raiders, Jus wanna share these little items with yous. I got a mate that made us a coulpe of our personal fad's with some cheapy online shirts i brought way back. He added some glow in the dark plastic tabs with reflextor stickers with mono line and BAM our personal FAD's. He was out today and reckons it works a treat Only thing that worries me that Leather jacket like flashy stuff like these I have a friend that frequents HK alot and everytime he comes back he suprises me with little things like these teaser Looks like a mouse in my eyes but im sure would make a interesting subjects for others in the ocean. One of them came with a coulpe of small fly looking attachment that hooks on the back probably aim for small pelagics. Also the guy at the tackle shop said tow this with a livie behide and will should raise the chances of catching more fish. I hope they give me good results
