You know the drill, very early start to Moloney to get bait and out the heads in near darkness so no one follows me 🤣🤣🤣 just kidding, you have to be on the fads before 7am and was between fads also had a deep drop at browns and snapped my line as I rigged incorrectly at the swivel, lost a big fish can’t complain though,

Took another day of work again, thank goodness I work for myself live bait sorted in botany at 4.30am and was out the heads by 6am, got to the fads by 6.50 and bagged out by 8.15 in what I describe as a freakeash bite, anything you threw in the water was taken , live bait was the main weapon but they took pillies and lures, the bite was all over by 8.30, we threw back another 5 fish or so by then, headed back in we trawled along the cliffs for bonito bait sorted for next time, get out there before they are gone tight lines raider

Yes we catch up fora fish down in Tassie i use braid straight to a 40lb leader with a 9/0 hook at the end , no weight just straight to a livie
-
Guess what! they where there we persisted and stayed after they left and that’s when the fish fired
-
I use 40lb Fluorocarbon leader rods 8/12kg is enough, I’ve pulled 1.4 meter fish with that just got to take your time , reels I use Saragossa
-
