Basil D
so after a good nights rest got a call to go measure for Mirror install and finished about 12, got that itchy feeling again so I called my Old Buddy Chris whom i met on Fishraider some 15 years ago and frienfship still going strong as ever . Headed of to the Bommie area and further down, drifted for about 3/4 hours and only got slimmies , heaps of slimmies , we kept persisting and persistence paid off, no donkeys in the mix but we had a great time, few bears in the mix , lots of laughs and jokes Back the water next week with Mrs Groper Get into it guys, And Happy new year from myself, Chris and Mrs Groper Edited December 30, 2022 by Basil D spelling errors

With the Rock Cod how do you cook them? I have caught heaps of them over the years and never kept one. Maybe need to give them a try.

noelm
I personally think anyone who mentions Lobster and Red Rock Cod in the same sentence has never eaten Lobster.......Red Rock Cod are at best fair eating (in my opinion) I have tried them steamed, fried and with various spices and they are still just "OK" they all go back now, along with all the other "ugly fish"
