    Just bumping this thread! So have these self inflating units improved from 2009 to 2015?? I have on of the older style open water types that I use for inshore & am looking at this one to replace it. https://www.whitworths.com.au/main_itemdetail.asp?cat=144&item=18368 Do they still require a recertification after 2 years or a service?

    Nice work joep. I love the bay when there's lots of surface action, keeps you entertained for sure I like the those for size perspective

    A guy I worked with for a number of years was a chef on one of the charters that frequented swains & I would drool over the stories. Red emporer, best fish I've ever tasted!

    Never caught a legal snapper in BB in 5 years. I'd like to know where that spot is!

    Is golf course inside the bay?? I've fished in the bay for years but never heard of it!

    Great work they must be stoked:) I got my PB of an 80cm crock back in February in botany so there are some biggens in there!

    That's a beaut! A work colleague went out the other day off Sydney & caught heaps of them but none were legal!

    There are heaps in the bay in summer, I wouldn't go to far from them either as someone will steel them pretty quickly!

    Plenty south of the red channel markers of the main bay, directly east of the 3rs runway!

    That's a horrible slippery ramp. The one at Gwawly bay, hawkesbury reserve is better IMO even though it's also pretty shity as well. Not to many other options really except foreshore rd. Nice squid by the way! Would love to know where to go on the bay to get them!

    I would have thought.catching a Sampson fish in these waters is pretty rare?? If you plan on going out at that time regularly I'd be getting a spotlight like a lightforce hand held! I use one for spotlighing hunting & they are good to 400/500 metres!
