  4. I bought a new shimano soft plastic combo and 3 colors of the SX40 lures after what i heard they can do. Arrived at Iron cove at 3, within half an hour of mucking around with lure, i landed two breams on the SX 40 on my 301. Landed one legal bream, one undersized, a small tailor which got hooked on the head some how and a stupid puffer fish. cant wait until i use this at cooks river next session!
  5. who would use a sx48 without treble hooks at mills creek and even manages to snag it without the hooks.

  7. i tried this at nelson bay last time had a flick around at night and hooked onto a jewie but it cut off my line against the rock!

  9. hey i was trying to fish off the wall before but i noticed it was really really snagged there was heaps and heaps of weed bed and heaps of rocks, i found it unfishable. How far did u go on the wall? I was fishing off the rock there and caught some wrasse lol Yeh Yara bay is good for whiting. Try use sandworms instead of pilchards but on lighter line and longer rod.
  10. did you go during high tide? was this land based? i thought its really shallow there especially near the building there. Or did you go wading?

  12. holy moly, thats the fish i had a dream about catching with a metal slice lure the other night and i didnt know what fish it was.
  13. hey fishraiders, does anyone know how to keep yabbies alive for at least a week? i heard you can keep them in a bucket with sand and seaweed. do u have to regularly change water? or is having a airator good enough? and what else do they eat besides seaweed?

  15. very nice, peeled king prawns is the best but they are expensive, i got mine for $7 for 500gm! can u get it for cheaper?

    what kinda road planner would build a road like t his on a 70 degree angle if this was real? lol those hills on the way to clifton garden is scary if u are walking it. I've walked it before and its quite steep
