Do u reckon the shimano t curve 7 foot 1 6-12 kg rod will be good

For yakka use a light rod using either a bait jig, which you can by at most tackle stores, or either baits such as pilchard, prawn, squid etc with a small hook and little to no weight (you can use two hooks for better success) Good luck, Mr fish

Hello raiders, I recently purchased a new shimano bait runner d 8000 for a very good price and I am wondering what rod to pair it up with. I am looking to use it for snapper, kingfish and the odd jew. I need something that I can use both land based and off a boat so nothing to big or to small. It is spooled up with 30lb braid if that helps. I am looking for a shimano rod with anything up to $150. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, Thank you Mr. Fish

Congratulation on the fish, definitely a pearl perch. You should be happy you didn't hand it over as it is a beautiful eating fish, keep it simple and I'm sure it will taste brilliant

The size of the bait can also depend on the hook size, the line strenght and other factors...
