I'm surprised they went really hard. Ive found them to be really lethargic up here! Maybe you went to soft on them??? Lock it up, and lift and wind! Either wa, at least you found them! cheers scratchie!!!

Hooked up about 14m. Only fish the inner reefs up here between 5-25m. That's where the big boys live!

The structure that we were fishing it wasn't necessary! Definitely a handy tool to have in some occasions though! Especially when your the decky required to pull the anchor!

Good on you Baz! It was a great morning on the water! Sp's are the way to go on snapper with very little bycatch! Your boat handled really well and I'm glad you stuck with chucking plastics and ended up with a few yourself! It's a very active way of fishing!
