Everyone has theory on what knots best. My advice, pick one and do it well. What lb line to use, trial and error but rick is on the money!

Awesome video Farvos! I loved the kaos of the double hook up! Mrs Farvos is definitely a keeper! Not only did she out fish you, she's better with the gaff too! Lol.
A great trip that I'm sure you'll both remember for a lifetime!
cheers scratchie!!!
I'm surprised they went really hard. Ive found them to be really lethargic up here! Maybe you went to soft on them??? Lock it up, and lift and wind! Either wa, at least you found them!
cheers scratchie!!!
The structure that we were fishing it wasn't necessary! Definitely a handy tool to have in some occasions though! Especially when your the decky required to pull the anchor!
Good on you Baz! It was a great morning on the water! Sp's are the way to go on snapper with very little bycatch! Your boat handled really well and I'm glad you stuck with chucking plastics and ended up with a few yourself! It's a very active way of fishing! A shame the only thing that hit our livey was a garnet! Lol. Until next time mate, tight lines!
cheers scratchie!!!
Good decision Rick but I've got to laugh, we ended up with 6 snapper too! Haha. Horses for courses at least your son ticked one off the list!
cheers scratchie!!!
And here I thought you were whispering to the bloody things! Mate, it was a great day and I can't believe we had the joint to ourselves either! See you soon champ!
Good luck rick! I'm off to Broughton so hopefully I've got a report for you too! Lol.
Hope the forecast rain stays away though, open boat! Brrrrrrrr!
