  1. Awesome! Great report! I'm yet to get myself one of them! Cheers scratchie!!!
  2. As a moderator and truly addicted member of this site, I am deeply saddened to see it close. But times are changing unfortunately and with the development of social media it is just not a cost affective option to continue the site amongst other things. Not only is it a personal burden on Donna and Stewy but the time invested is also massive and one they can do without on their twilight years. I have met hundreds of raiders over many years and many of them I know call mates! Ive been exposed to a wealth of knowledge from many members and it has contributed to my knowledge immensely! I wish everyone all the best and if their is anyone that wants to maintain contact with me please send me a pm with your phone number and I'll be happy to reply! Tight lines my friends, Cheers scratchie!!!
  3. Good on you longy! Glad you had a great trip up here mate! The conditions on the day weren't fantastic but fishable! Would have liked to hit those reefs earlier for a few more snaps! They were two decent mackies you caught too! Put up a great fight and both released! Sorry it was a short trip but that was the only window of time I had! Couldn't keep my eyes open any longer! Next time I'll plan a day at Broughton with you! All the best, Cheers scratchie!!!
  4. Pm's only thanks! However, you might want to have a look at our site sponsor "reef magic".
  5. Well it was a tough weekend to say the least. The weather that was the caused by cyclone Debbie certainly didn't help anyone! However in saying that, there were a few good fish caught. Yesterday afternoon, the three raiders on the board were, jrcjamie, prawnstar and I managed one myself. But come this morning, two of us had been knocked off (me included). Jamie looks like he's held onto the bream title. Here are a couple of pics on the event including a monster 30.775kg Jew by Paul Lennon.
  6. Just a quick update...... we are all fishing in atrocious conditions. The weigh in of fish is obviously down on normal but so far we have 3 fishraiders on the board. Hopefully the sun will come out soon and I can dry out cheers scratchie!!!
  7. Well, with the trailer boat tournament on this weekend, there might be 300 boats in shoal bay! Cheers scratchie!!!
  8. That's a stonker bream! Would have made the beers taste better! Cheers scratchie!!!
  9. Awesome fish there boys! Your a good team. Always seem to come up with quality fish! Cheers scratchie!!!
  10. The weather looks pretty ordinary to say the least. Let's hope they are wrong! However, there are plenty of options on the bay and many corners to hide in! The good news is the long tail are here and in big numbers! Fingers crossed they get the weather wrong!
  11. Nice work Luke! You certainly have no problem getting stuck into those bonito now! Well done cheers scratchie!!!

  20. I'm sure it has advanced dramatically since I played. But remember it fondly, running around like gi-jo with a few mates for bragging rights! Do you still have to re-energise?
  21. Looks like heaps of fun Luke! I played laser tag for about two years when it first went big in Australia early 90's. I don't think many people would understand just how fit you need to be to play it. I'm to old now! cheers scratchie!!!
