What colour were the squidgy prawns mate? I got one pack not long ago in the yellow colour, forgot the actual name.. just wondering what colour the flatties took the prawn on.

some nice fish there mate and yep nothin like going for a fish when stressed even if there is no fish, just sitting out there, rod in hand, bit of wind, and the smell of the ocean is so relaxing. the best therapy if you ask me. Oz.

Oh cool, didn't know that. yeah I bought one a while back, filleted and baked it, was absolutely horrible. I am yet to give up on it and will try again. A fella from the Sydney fish market once told me to cut them into strips or" cubes" and lightly dust them with spiced flour and they go alright. Oz.

Nice mate. I think more people need to make more use of them or try to use them, E.g. bait, cooked with proper care and recipes so they taste decent, and even feed for the cats which you have done which is a great.

That's good to hear Jon, I actually like finding out how far and where tagged fish have travelled, it is quite interesting. it would be nice to catch some Kings if there coming up my way! Cheers Jon.

Hahah they are quite the pest then Adem, sagol abicim. Im already annoyed about what they do without it actually happening, lol, thanks mate. They are, I like them deep fried whole. I think the fisheries should take the limit off if they are that much of a problem..

Hi guys! Would like to know some ideal fishing spots for disabled people in the Illawarra and Sydney area (land based) I also think this post will be much appreciated by any of our fellow raiders who may struggle to find suitable spots that would suit them. Cheers guys, Oz.

What is in the burley mix? because ludericks are herbivores but do consume crustaceans and worms from time to time...

Off topic but when setting traps and pots be alert as many people raid them which sucks. My father use to trap lobsters and gave up as people kept stealing our lobby’s.

Yep the TT jig heads are quite good, especially the headlockz series, like the name once hooked it’s hard for the fish to get out.

Can you use them for bait? Maybe the heads for lobster and crabs pots and using the meat as fish strips for fishing...? would like to know so If I catch any I will use them as bait. Its illegal to throw them back in the water anyway... Oz.

Not from my own experience but I have heard the Rapala X-Rap lures do well with the kingies. Just recently bought two myself! Oz.
