  1. Stay away from parsley because I'm pretty sure the bridge to bridge is on tomorrow Baz! Hopefully someone on here can give you some intel on the harbour! Cheers scratchie!!!
  2. Ps. Nice jewfish dave. Looks bigger than the one Stewy got!
  3. Nice report Stewy! And the Jedi mind trick about the prawns had me rattled what to say! Lol A big thanks to Donna for letting him and dave go so he was able to place this report! Some great fish there fellas! Very envious now I'm back doing this hard slog thing they call work! I'll have to come an join you on that floating ice cream container soon! Cheers scratchie!!!
  4. A good read Adam considering you never landed a fish! It's amazing what you learn on the zero days. Thanks for sharing. Cheers scratchie!!!
  5. Thanks Steve, wasn't sure on the second but I knew it was a wrasse! Both throw backs IMO and you lose points for them when fishing with me!
  6. First one is a pike and I think the second is a crimson banded wrasse!
  7. Great report and well done again fellas! Good on Royce for showing you the way! At the rate you boys are learning, I think a few avatar names need changing! Luderickfisher12 Breamking6784 What you think boys? Well done Cheers scratchie!!!

  10. Well done ribs! Cracking fish there mate and a deserved winner! Cheers scratchie!!!
  11. Flathead will take different lures on different days, don't ask me why! I use a 1/8 jig with either a 100mm bloodworm wriggler, 100mm silver fox or 5in shad in pearl or pilchard. Most of my good fish are caught in 2-3m of water! And high tide especially in the arvo! Cheers scratchie!!!
  12. I'm not quite sure but I think anything under 10hp. Maybe someone else can help with this!
  13. You don't need a licence for a tinny that goes under 10knots. And if you do leave it up here in port stephens and don't get the use you intend out of it, I could always give or a run for you! Cheers scratchie!!!
  14. IMO, that gadget is right up there with the "instant fisherman". It would help in the hawkesbury on the hairtail social though! Bloody freezing cold and hands don't work! Cheers scratchie!!!

  19. Good stuff bazza! Haven't heard much from you lately so I'm glad you got to wet a line! Nice bream. Cheers scratchie!!!
  20. Nice flatty there mate! You've pulled some good fish lately. That would be a good submission for cotm! Cheers scratchie!!!
  21. I use a uni or loop knot. But when I'm yakking and/or in a situation where I change lures many times, I use a spiral decoy. It's like a snap swivel but with no moving parts and acts as a loop knot. I will only use this when flicking for bass, bream, flatty etc. Cheers scratchie!!!
  22. Ok. Spoke with some local boys today and they reckon seal rocks is an awesome place to fish land based. That time of year you can get snapper, king, longtail, cobia etc from the stones. You can fish right in front of the lighthouse for these species or try any of the headlands. From the beach is a good place to target flatty and whiting. Plenty of places there to fish LB! Good luck and enjoy! Cheers scratchie!!!
  23. Haha hank! As the saying goes happily married??She's= happy Your= married For the record, I fish whenever the weather allows me too! It's not up to my wife if I can go fishing! I guess I set the ground rules early! But tbh I'm a pretty lucky man. Cheers scratchie!!!
