  1. Lol, he is unjustly taking you for granted Donna. Well done guys, awesome photos and report.
  2. Happy birthday Stewy. Hope you have a great night.
  3. I'm going to miss all the people the most. We all can associate a face with a lot of the usernames on the forum but there are many that post that we read reports of, or have grown accustomed to their activity and presence on the forum. I'm not looking forward to the day that this all disappears...
  4. I am deeply saddened by this news. Even though some of us were aware of this possibility for a long time now, I know at least for myself, this is still a shock to the system. I know this wasn't an easy decision to make but life goes on. I admire the tenacity of the admin team for hanging in as long as they have in keeping Fishraider going and having the undeniably positive influence within the community through its brand and members. Also, the rest of the mod team whom have worked tirelessly to keep the forum in check and a pleasant experience. I've had the pleasure of having met pretty much everyone and I look forward to more fishing adventures in the future.
  5. That is an eye opening event. All the best to you and the communities involved. Keep us updated.
  6. Port Hacking has plenty of options for whiting.
  7. Both when drifting. Only a) when anchored.
  8. Well, it sounds like they didn't even acknowledge your or Krause's efforts. So thanks for doing the community a favour and saving these two men. You guys went above and beyond sacrificing your time and safety. At Fishraider, we recognise this and may a badge be forthcoming.
  9. Congrats on the win with that quality flathead.
  10. Killing it Kareem. Spewing about the pulled hooks on the hoodlum. Keep up the good work.
  11. Excellent work Donna. Getting a PB croc like that one justified your decision to chase flatties instead.
  12. I don't think anyone has suggested this yet, but as a last resort, you could simply use the Gulp plastics and fish them as though they were bait. They do work when left in the rod holder and fish do come up and have a go at them. I've rigged them up paternoster style and simply left in the rod holder and caught numerous tailor and small snapper this way although this is probably not the quality of fish you are after.
  13. Hi James. I've split your post from the thread that you originally posted in so that you could get more views. Good luck.
  14. Top report Jeff! Looking a bit glum there though. Good to see the kids having some fun.
  15. Let's see... 1) Spend less on fishing tackle 2) Spend less on fishing tackle 3) Spend less on fishing tackle
  16. That's a nice setup, perfect for bass. Those are some nice, well conditioned fish.
  17. Nice one Jeff, carving it up as usual!
  18. Nicely done. I look forward to your future reports.
  19. Better luck next time. As you were with Scratchie, you were definitely in good hands.
  20. Looking good boys! I'm eagerly awaiting the full debrief.
  21. They are the standout reel in the price bracket. I've owned all three and whilst they aren't in the condition they were when I first bought them, they've done the job from bream to kings.
