  1. Awesome and in the years to follow the photo will even more special.
  2. I'm going Smallmouth Scad "Alepes apercna"
  3. Where was it caught C/T. Rough area will do mate.
  4. They used to spin up some big Jew on feathers when the Hawkesbury was in flood back in the day but other than that not much. Places like Winney Bay and Avoca had the limelight.
  5. You just gotta love old photos. Excellent.
  6. On-Ya BN, always enjoy reading your reports. Hopefully we'll be reading one soon on a 1mt fish you get and if we don't keep up the reports anyway. Thanks.
  7. Not a Pacific Bluefin but still a rare occurrence. You would know if you hooked it spinning for Bream or Flathead. http://www.begadistrictnews.com.au/story/5171184/big-bluefin-tuna-sighting-in-pambula-lake/?cs=512
  8. Also called a Blacksaddled Goarfish, though Blackspot is the most common name.
  9. Good fish there Bruce, great on the tooth to.
  10. Thanks Neil for such a great report. Alwsys love reading about that part of the country.
  11. Just excellent again Jon. Thanks for posting these up.
  12. 51cm Wild Bass, now thats a great fish. Congratulations.
  13. The only thing I can add to it is I thought it was caught at the Peak and the 60 was the gear it was caught on. 60kg or the old 130. 130 off Sydney, it wouldn't get much use even in those days.
  14. Scad Mackerel "Grammatorcynus bilineatus" Happy to be wrong though.
  15. I recon its a Large Scale Saury "Sauria undosquamis" Also the common names have Grinner as Rick said and Lizardfish in them. They have come up on here before.
  16. Have a Google for a "Three bar porcupine fish" and see if that's similar.
  17. Congrats to the Photographer and the boat driver.
  18. The Pie shop at Tilba is not bad either.
  19. I'm with Scratchie on the Koala. Never casted to one but have thrown plenty of lures up into trees. Oh and great photos again.
  20. You zigged when you should have zagged, bad luck mate. Jon, Jon, Jon. Rookie mistake forgetting the Banannas

Great photos there you mob. Though I was expecting a photo of you and the boat getting blessed at the Big Bannana.
  22. Could you imagine what you would have caught without the Bananas on the boat.
  23. That is correct mate. Now this is where it gets confusing. Queensland Government calls this one and the Goldspotted a "Estuary Cod" Its a Malabar Grouper/ Blackspotted Rockcod. So is it a Grouper or a Rockcod, buggered if I know but at the end of the day its a "Epinephelus malabarricus". Bloody common names.
  24. I'll get onto "Sports Betting Agency" and have my money on you guys.
  25. That sounds like a great challenge, which I recon whats fishing is all about.
