  1. It could be a start on recovering the Buggy. http://www.police.nsw.gov.au/news/latest_releases?sq_content_src=%2BdXJsPWh0dHBzJTNBJTJGJTJGZWJpenByZC5wb2xpY2UubnN3Lmdvdi5hdSUyRm1lZGlhJTJGNTU5NzMuaHRtbCZhbGw9MQ%3D%3D
  2. I'm with NaCIH20K9 on this it could only be one of the two, aletta samifasciata Blue Weed Whiting or Neoodax balteatus. Rock/Weed Whiting My guess would be the same as yours, Little Weed/Rock Whiting with my reason, the Blue Weed Whiting has more of a Whiting head than a Rock/Weed Whiting and the fish in question doesn't show that character. So Weed/Rock Whiting it is for me.
  3. What NaCIH20K9 said. Couldn't agree more mate.
  4. If I had to have a guess I would say Juvenile Spangled Emperor to, face is very pale and starting to develop the Blue spots on the flank. Plus far more common down that next of the woods than a Grassy. Still happy to be wrong though.
  5. Where was the catch location, generally speaking.
  6. Buggar, committed to another outing. Leaving from Water st, to. Good luck Lads.
  7. Fricken awesome Neil, Mans alive when he sees those.
  8. Geeez what a buggar, trying to catch Snapper. Bloody Jewys and Pearlies getting in the way. Very nice fish.
  9. Great report with a mixed bag of species of fish as well, makes enjoyable reading from cold Sydney. I'd agree with you on those Tuskies, They pull bloody hard and taste bloody good to I recon. Pity about the Barra but you can't do much about the the season that just passed and the lack of rain, I suppose its gives you another reason to go back, mind you by the look of it I bet there's plenty of reasons to go back. The Trevally species your not sure about I recon it's a Cale Cale/ Longraker Trevally Ulna mentalist. Thanks for the report.
  10. It's like a Juvenile Bludger trevally then but no spots. ?????
  11. Sounds like a great road trip was had, plus having a fish as well. Anyway my guess on the fish, The first .... what I call a Wire netting Cod Epinephelus merra (though there's plenty of common names.) Second Moses Perch/Snapper/ Fingermark Bream Lutjanus russellii Third I recon is a Silver trevally Pseudocaranx georginus
  12. Awesome photos, great bit of Australian country. Thanks.
  13. Was a tad cold out there hey DB, but were rewarded. Big pod of Dolphins near Jibbon Bommie on the way back in on Monday we saw with a Seal mixed in with them. I think the Dolphins were herding bait fish as they seemed to be on a mission, lot of tail slapping action to.
  14. This one came up a while ago and I think the consensus was a Large Scale Saury. Sauria undosquamis. Sorry, but not being pedantic I'll call it that for the time being. But as always, happy to be corrected. http://www.fishraider.com.au/Invision/index.php?showtopic=75882
  15. Good bit of engineering for a purpose. And gee it gets up and goes.
  16. One of my favourite Rock Wiz clips Jay and Adalita (Magic Dirt) Also Jay is rated as one of the greatest guitarist.
  17. Yeah I recon Bob is a Bobett, but Bob turned up as a very young scrawny thing so thats when my daughter named it. We also had a Fox try and get our Chickens earlier in the year, (now remember we live in Suburbia), but with the commotion early one morning the wife and I raced down they were saved. Though the fox nearly made it thru the chicken wire. The Lock up hutch I built looks like something out of Mad Max now and we call it the Chicken Bunker. Though a mate who lives down at Engadine who also has Chickens, had and I SAY had a pesky Fox that though he was smart. Now that Fox is a Ex Fox. As for you Gang Gang, what a great looking bird. Ive never seen one and you seem to have a few around your way. Even up at the Sister in laws who lives at Hazelbrook and has a few different birds hanging around im still to see a Gang Gang, so I better keep my eyes open. Thanks Jeff.
  18. Your making me jealous there FR. I live in suburbia in Sydney. Now a Brush Turkey has for years visits the chickens, chickens are grumpy but good old Bob, which my daughter has named, still persists. Though now Bob is a bit older it could be a Bobett.
  19. Great report and I recon your right. Also I see you have the "Old Salty Sea Dog" navigating. Great photo.
  20. Excellent and interesting photos again Neil. looks a tad cold as well. Thanks for posting.
  21. Thanks, looks a great place
  22. Excellent, I also would like to know where.
  23. Not if your another Eastern Frogfish and it's mating season.
