  1. Nice feed! how do you find the coral crabs on the chew? Never tried one. A few being caught lately
  2. Another nice catch Dave! Making me keen to go for a whiting session!
  3. Nice feed mate! would be great in a pasta! Enjoy!
  4. That ravioli is too good Haven’t had a feed yet, and your making me hungry
  5. Nice seafood buffet Basil! lots of crabs moving around in Botany Bay atm.
  6. Looks like you found the flatties - nice catch! couple of good feeds in that lot! i saw a small hammerhead about 1.2m long a few weeks back cruising by, plenty of sharks around. Have you caught gummy out there on the flatty drift?
  7. Nice catch Isaac! Plenty of fish to go round.
  8. I totally agree Bob - trag is my favourite fish to eat battered! I find the schools of Trag will move around an area, there one day, gone the next and then back again. It’s always a hard call to move from a spot you had success at days earlier.
  9. Thanks Aiden! You get out on Thursday? There were quite a few boats inside the hacking.
  10. Nice bit of action and a feed! good fun when they’re busting up well done 👍
  11. Can’t beat fresh whiting fillets! looks like a solid day! Well done 👍
  12. Smashed them! Looks a beautiful spot for some top water. were you using assist hooks or trebles?
  13. Nice Luds Burger! were those taken inside or off the ocean rocks?
  14. Thanks Bob - finally a few flatties about. kings were good fun - I recon 2-4 weeks and the larger models should turn up Yeah the offshore flatties have been a hard slog to get over the last few months. Seems they’ve started to show up now. Thanks Brad! those small ones were everywhere - even out past 50m a few weeks back. I occasionally see that bloke Andrew out that deep on his kayak - but he’s got an outrigger and small outboard motor.
  15. Nice seafood buffet! Well done Mate! Some good sized reds too.
  16. Thanks Bessel - good to see them about again. With those photos you sent me this arvo, looks like you did pretty well on them today! Thanks Rob, plenty of kingy action out there atm, but all just under.
  17. Thanks Dave, finally a few flatties about - nothing big though - and only pulled up 2 spikies. The cheap silstar Christmas tree skirt lures always seem to get the hits for me. Thanks Isaac, the schools haven’t come inside yet - they’re out the front along the headlands/cliffs. All seem to be undersized at the moment - larger fish should arrive in 3-4 weeks. You’ll still get kingies inside, but imo start of Feb is the best month for large kings in the hacking.
  18. Similar thing happened this morning - My mate was joined by a guy who was new to JetSki fishing - hadn’t clicked in the rod holder properly and overboard went a brand new shimano Saragossa 8000 reel and rod. Didn’t even get to cast it once.
  19. Gday Raiders, headed out on Thursday nice and early to beat the crowds. Did a bit of exploring early on, then headed to the flatty drift. Fish were bunched up at the 50m mark over a small area. After a couple of hours boated 8 and released another 2-3 smaller legals. trolled the cliffs on the way back to see if the Bonnie’s had arrived - 2 small kings, then a Bonnie. Hit up a kingy spot and found some action - fish after fish. Bringing up doubles. No big ones but spent an hour or two hauling up a dozen fish. Half at around the 60-63cm size. The rest at 50-60cm. Nothing of size. They were taking livies and strips of unweighted fresh squid. flatties ranged from 34-44cm.
  20. A nice assortment of big fish there Scratchie! How far out you get those marlin? you fish around seal rocks or out at the shelf
  21. Nice collection Dave! Can’t go wrong with reds and trag. if you can’t find yakkas around Jibbon, hit up middle ground. They hold up there in large schools pretty much 24hours. Don’t need burley, just a sabiki - no bait.
  22. Nice haul of trags Bob! Good sizes! The small kings are everywhere at the moment.
