VA911
Hey all, Been here long enough and finally got the boat back after a short stint getting refitted, modified, repaired and the list goes on. Its a 4.6 stessl boat, Fitted a new 60 etec, huge live well, kill tank, new floor, new canopy, dual downriggers, Furuno sounder and the list goes on. I have finally got this boat set up the way i like it! If only it grew up and became a 6 meter plate boat with similar set up...... Things still to do. 6 rod alloy rocket launcher and my 10kg+ king. BTW. Raffi did the refit works and i can tell you all I love it! Thanks Here are a few pics.
shefford
This is our weird little boat. 6..1 meters long 60hp yamaha 4stroke (2007) garmin gps + hummingbird sounder centre console Its very narrow so to speak around 1.8 meters, sides are a bit low to looking at extending rails and adding vinel etc and mayb doing somthing above the transom. Only had it just over a month so don't have money to do it up at the moment! Unoffical name: Rambo V People think it looks weird specially giving how shallow and narrow it is, but bloody oath its good to fish out of. pcallaghan
G'day all! Thought I'd finally introduce myself! I've been lurking here for ages, having finally decided on what boat to get in January this year. Was a bit hard, as I've never had a boat, or known anyone with a boat. I'm a keen fisherman, but am pretty crap (and looking for some tips too!). I'm a South Aussie originally, and fishing over on the east coast is a little different (more fish, Adelaide is so overfished unless you have a boat). After much indecision, I finally decided on a Stacer Nomad, which suits me just fine. Thanks Craig (up at Huett Marine) for doing a good deal, and giving good advice. She's a 429 Nomad, with a 25hp Johnson 4st. It'll be coming up to you for its first service soon. Its been a great boat so far, I've taken it up the Hawkesbury, over to sow and pigs in the harbour a quite a few times, even caught a few fish! Forgot to tighten the bungs only once (the guys that shouted out to me near the marina at Drummoyne, I'm so grateful!). No damage done (luckily). Give me a hoy if you see me out! Cheers, Pauley Edited June 5, 2008 by paul_ie
