    Sorry I don't mean to distract from your great story Wazza but it just interests me when 2 people can connect in 2020 from something in each persons past. Not related to fishing but I used to catch the train from Yagoona to Birrong for high school from 1980 to 1983. Never know but it could have been a shop my old man used to visit, wouldn't surprise me!

    Grew up in the area but not familiar with the tackle store as at the time I was more into the slot car track at Yagoona near the station. But I was in high school at the time. I used to play cricket for Bass Hill RSL which is now sadly gone 😥

    That guy is a few sandwiches short of a picnic imo to go to that trouble for a fish, but each to their own In saying that I have done abseiling & canyoning up un the blue mountains once & it was scary fun but something you have to be young & fit to do. In this one he catches a cracker of a Sambo

    Well done Baz, I had a vision of it being hooked up as I read your post & as I scrolled down was great to see scratchie come to the rescue 🤣 I was actually looking for something in the cupboard the other day & came across 3 rolls I didn't even know I had & this was my reaction to seeing them

    Baz, the media & FB is not an official body. Yes I have just watched the news(not disclosing channel) & it was stated that there has been a relaxion because fishing can be classed as exercise. Really 🙄 Media often like to 'interpret' things to suit their ratings! Still waiting for something official here, haven't seen anything yet!

    Well its unfortunate but now it certainly clears the air & makes it clear to all. The fines are pretty heavy as well!! Pretty much as close to a total shutdown as you can get! Not sure how far off that will be?

    Hi Frank, It looks a bit similar to my Ctek. You have power but have you tried to actually change the mode? I have to select the right mode to start charging, Eg press mode until it lights up 12v Hope that helps.

    We are all in the same boat(pun intended😁) & not much we can do about it @Bort! All I can say is once all this goes away there should be some great fishing to be had around the place

    Sounds like you need to go to a different servo & different outboard mechanic Jim! I know some servo's in Sydney were getting pulled up by inspectors for incorrect pumps where people were getting less fuel for the $$. Could be a tanker putting the wrong fuel into a holding tank as well? Good luck with it but yeh, Id be going to a different servo for a start!

    It may not be official but he is just repeating what the government & medical officials have been asking of us all for nearly a couple of weeks now! Maybe all fisho's including raiders might be more willing to listen to a comrade rather than a suit??

    I don't say much when I hook a fish as 90% of the time there isn't anyone to listen anyway. But when they jump out of the net & swim away I let a couple of these go 🤬🤬………………………….🤣

    I personally don't think that would be of any benefit, the motion of boat would scare them away. They are pretty skittish little things!
