  1. I haven't seen it but would like to if anyone did have a copy. 😁
  2. Great photos and report Dave. Looking forward to the next instalments.
  3. My guess would be the First one is a Onespot Puller Chromis hypsilepis Second is a Ling as Noelm said or another name is (Largetooth Beardie) Third is a Blackbanded Seaperch. Hypoplectrodes annulatus Hope this helps 🙂

That Turtle photo is awesome with a background of the night sky. Also that looks like a thumper of a Brassy.

Excellent report Jon. Looks a great adventure.
  7. Dark ones again Neil and a good way to spend a couple of hours.
  8. @Rock hopper best info I could get with the photo and pretty sure it's this critter. Flathead Sandfish Lesueurina platycephala Just saw @Larkin had already suggested this, thanks Larkin.
  9. Not sure about the Carp but you've got some great country down your way and thanks for sharing that.
  10. I suppose it was school holidays and a nice day so the lucky ones on holidays would have thought Tuesday would have been better option than the Monday of a Long Weekend, but you got out and got a couple of fish which is good. Those Sharks can turn on them selves and able to bite you and bloody strong buggars to. Also the Shark may be a Dusky Whaler than a Bronzy and happy to be corrected, but the really go hard for their size.
  11. What a pleasant way to pass a Spring day Neil and a great way to Christen the new rod. Looking forward to more Carp eradication reports.
  12. Ive no idea. @frankS The front tow point doesn't look right for an Invincible, could be wrong though.
  13. Also above the Weir at Parramatta I have seen people catch them. I think @motiondave has fished up that way.
  14. I'm with Dave, South West Rocks as you have Beach, Rocks and Estuary. Where Coffs and Crescent don't have a big Estuary systems. If the weathers crook, you can always fish an Estuary.
  15. Good stuff Albert. Looking forward to the traveling reports mate. Oh and the country gets nicer further down the coast as you go.
  16. You get a few Gummies up here, we got one out of the Hacking 2 weeks ago. So ,not that common but certainly not rare.
  17. Works of Art from a man with a good heart.
  18. So sad to hear that news, my Condolences to yourself and all the family. I had the pleasure to fish Weipa with him and I will always cherish those memories.
  19. With the warranty I think you have to have it serviced by a "Authorised" dealer that may charge premium costs. Mate just got a new Merc and the warranty was similar.
  20. Catch one on Fly LF and it would be more satisfying.
  21. BN, I had a look and it seems it depends on your fare type how much baggage your allowed. The dearer the fare the more baggage your allowed. But I would think there is a maximum size. I used to travel with a dive bag which was long but still in their parameters and fit a multi piece travelling rods in it ... but I packed them well in plastic water pipe and my clothing around it. If you book a charter I guess gear would be supplied or you could ask before booking. It seems they have a good fishery up there on the Fitzroy. All the best mate. PM sent.
  22. I bet the time will fly whist over there. Have a good safe trip.
