Lol, I seriously just camped there this weekend. I didn’t do any fishing but watched a few guys take their boats out for not much return. Very tidal and shallow but the river does look fishy! Cheers scratchie!!!

I’m not big gamer but I’ll be out there once this weather settles down and water warms up! As rick said, there been a few about but a lot of water in between! Went for an attempt 3 weeks ago, but got to the fad and with 2m plus swell (not forecast) and 20 knot winds, wasn’t pushing on any further! Will let you all know on future attempts! Chasing snapper- 5-7 inch gulp or zmans shads. Change colours with the seasons Flatty- squidgy wrigglers 100mm or squidgy fish. Then sometimes gulp 5 inch in bleeding pilchard! 👍 Hardbodies- bream, flatty and whiting river2sea 45mm in various colours. Cheers scratchie!!!

As you can appreciate I don’t do too much land based fishing. But when I do, I normally go to Wanda headland, off the wall at soldiers boat ramp, soldiers point jetty or walk flicking sps and hard bodies along corlette or Taylor’s beach. Hope that helps, cheers scratchie!!!
