An automatic bilge pump for a trailer sized boat would cost less than $150 from whitworths. A marine tech would charge circa $100 to fit.

Now there's a thought. Hmmmmmm need to chat to Stewie and Donna re prizes. Gee this is coming around fast. Doubt we will be swimming off the back of the boat on the night, more like ice skating. Looking forward to it.

We moved to the basin from smiths creek yesterday morning and noticed a lot of fish on the sounder as we approached Lion Island. Didn't fish as we are in relax mode. Might launch the dinghy today and go and have a look. Good report and sounds like loads of fun.

2 years ago I caught a 5ft grey at Towlers. We also cut it off as we didn't think it was a family friendly catch.
