  8. That is a beautiful fish! Congrats on getting it on the iso gear and on cabbage too! My biggest is 51cm and I struggled to winch it up on my 7 wrap rod! That thing must have pulled like a groper!
  9. Great haul of very healthy looking fish....go the burley!
  10. Great haul there, how was the water clarity where you were fishing?
  11. Great haul there, lots of boats out too!
  12. Great post and awesome trips for the kids! Some very nice fish caught there and those kids will be terrorising the Port Hacking fish stocks for years to come!
  13. At least you got onto the water, a few squid and beautiful conditions are both good for the mental health!!
  14. I do like having whiting fillets on hand but I cooked the big whiting whole this time around and had it with a curry....very nice! Hope it helps, I like to keep the bait moving:)
  15. Cheers Isaac Trev done as sashimi and the bream was last caught and released as I had plenty:) Yes Dave the foot comes in handy as a measuring stick sometimes Thanks Rebel I normally use a larger size bloodworm hook to try to stop the fish swallowing the hook plus I like using xl nippers. Trace usually about 60-80cm. Thanks Yowie, I have a good stash of fillets snap frozen now for whn I crave whiting! As for your road trip, I was like that in Tassie! It was raining for the first few days when we on the coast so the closest I got to a fish was spooking some trout in the inland streams when we went for a walk! Thanks Bob, my whippy whiting rod had a good bend in it close to the boat! Not a bad idea! That could catch on in the fisho world!
  16. Hit the Hacking on Saturday arvo for a bash on the flats. It was shirt off fishing as the sun came out to play! Pumped some nippers in quick time an hour after the low and drifted the flats for some nice whiting including a bruiser in the low 40s. A trevally in the mid 40s livened up the arvo on 4lb braid and I headed home under a swelling moon in perfect conditions.
  17. Another amazing post Bob! That king looked a cracker and Jewies and trag to boot!
  18. Great catch on such light line and it just shows you what predators crocs are… the little dude must have been happy! Enjoy the feed, well-deserved!!!
  19. That is a great trifecta and more excitement than a few flatties!!
  20. Great post Bob! Sinatra and fishing sound like a good pairing!
  21. Great post! Good things come in 4s!
  22. Bob you’d find a feed in a kitchen sink!
