tobycb
Hey guys, Got out early yesterday in the Long Reef area with a mate of mine to chase a few snapper on plastics. Bit lumpy with a reasonable swell running, but little wind. Got a nice red going 68cm on the first drift my mate also got a smaller model. An hour or so later got another 66cm fish. Around 09:30 decided to drag a couple of yakka's around in the hope of a king.... We were rewarded with a nice fish going roughly 90cm. Back at the ramp by 11:00 and snapper for dinner... big Neil
Great report Toby. You obviously know what you're doing on the water. The Snapper meal looks fabulous but if that's #4 what were the other three? Seriously, great pics of a great day out, bn

Lucky to get out there with a mate with proper local knowledge. As i said, must get up your way soon. Yes, the king went at least 90, the fisheries sticker on the esky tapped out at 70.... Did you end up with the Fishraiders stickers? Regards, Toby

GordoRetired
I dream of catching Snapper like that off Long Reef. Despite many attempts the best I have managed is barely legal... 😞 Any advice you could offer for getting them would be much appreciated.
