I originally thought the fittings at the top were an inlet and outlet. I get it now they are both outlets with the inlet at the bottom. If your valve works that's great. Otherwise I'd move the inlet to the top and plumb it to the bottom internally.

It's not clear in the pic but on the inlet does it extend down to the bottom of the tank. If it does it is probably self syphoning from the tank back down the inlet line. If that's the case you need a small hole in the inlet pipe at the top inside in the tank. Put it on the side a bit so the water doesn't spray up when it's running. The hole only has to be tiny the air in the line prevents syphoning.

That sure is a tragic story Fab1 it would of been a very tough time for you and your respective families. I guess you can be thankful for the time you did share together. Life can be so fragile and at we often don't fully appreciate what we have until it's gone. Thanks for sharing and taking the time to share your experiences with us.

I agree blackfish years ago I also did the St. John's 2 day course. Although mine ran 1 night per week so took longer. Recently I did the 1 day course for work and it wasn't a patch on the old one. I find that with education generally now. It's about ticking boxes and has little to do with knowledge.

The small corolla or similar is the obvious choice. To go with an older car they really have to be into that in which case the question probably wouldn't of been asked. The other thing he could consider is a small 4wd that might get him onto the beaches and things like that. They would probably cost more to run though.

If I was heading thee I'd probably time my trip to swim with the Whale Sharks in Exmouth. I think April - May is the time of year.

Looking again it would be even better with if when you click on a location it gives all restrictions for this spot. For example collecting nipppers in Gunamatta bay is not allowed but doesn't show. Hopefully over time this all gets added in.

It will be fine. My old plastic moulded (the lid doesn't fit well) one does just fine keeping the water icy cold even on hot days and it sits in the front of a bowrider. Your evacool should do it easy.

What your doing is going to have your fish so much better than the average guy with a keeper bag hung over the side. I use two, two litre orange juice bottles filled with fresh water in my esky and a bucket of sea water. It's icy cold at the end of the day. Just about every fish is bled in the live bait tank and put in the esky a bit later on. Although I have a litttle more room and can keep my food and drink in a cooler bag in the shade seperatrly.

My 14 yo daughters junior boat licence renewal was recently due. Previously we could only renew for one year. Now under the new rules she has a general licence ( with age restrictions) and could renew for 10 years. So some of the changes have definitely been put in place.

Another good feed Yowie. I think there might be a maximum storage amount each member can have on fishraider. Maybe check with Mrs Swordy?
