I haven’t posted in a while, but went out today with @zmk1962&  buddy Peter (non Raider). We arrived at the ramp about 5.30 and headed off to the bait grounds and after a quick prayer we filled up with live yakkas and slimies and headed off shore to Mugs, Dee Why and Long Reef. Between us we boated 19 Kingies, 4 flathead, 2 snapper, 2 trevally.

Conditions were a little choppy with 15knt NW wind but only a 1knt current and water temp of 18degrees.

On the way home (before I dozed off) Zoran treated us to one of the tracks off his current CD - outstanding music in the style of Carlos Santana.

it was a great day and we’re all planning on fresh Kingie fillets for tea.

Nice mixed bag you & the guy’s got Bob & lots of bent rods from the kingies. Peter & Zoran look like they had a great day, plenty of meals in that lot 👍

Very well done guys. Great result considering it's still Winter. Plenty of meals to be had in that lot. I thought it was the bananas that were the "bad luck omen", now I realise that it is I. Not gunna stop me from still trying for the magical 1mtr Kingfish tho. Great post guys. bn
