    Good on you for having a go. Won't take long to get with it again. I am not a carp expert by any means, but my limited experience is when the carp are surface feeding - mouth sucking the surface - floating bread crusts, or bread flies, would be worth trying.

    Nothing wrong with the prawns Issac. Just about every sea critter eats prawns, great for fresh bait, and even better eating.

    Sounds like quite an adventure there Mike. Here, there and everywhere. Maybe not a lot caught, however, places found for future fishing adventures. NeXt time, try it out of peak holiday time, AND, DON'T FORGET THE NIPPER PUMP. 🤣

    Some great fishing days you had there. Too many lunatics on the water at present, and they are not fishos. Nice pair of jacks - have not caught one yet, still time yet before I cannot cast for them, or anything else.

    Looks like a good time had by all. The salmon make for good sport wherever you catch them - hard fighting all the way.

    Thanks Chris. Some whiting about but a bit scattered, plenty of boats about. There was a dark blue jet ski in the shallows, fishing away at a distance. Did not see any fish hauled up.

    Thanks Rob. Hopefully a few fish on the bite up there. Heading to southern Qld for a few days to visit the daughter and family, but the weather is not looking too good. Showers forecast.

    Thank you b.n. Fished the Hacking for ? years 😂, so know a couple of spots. A good fishing environment (nearly time for the holiday makers to go back to work and leave the fish for me ) There is a 0 and a 7 in my age: maybe not in that order. 🤣
