  2. I'm looking forward to seeing that!
  3. Great report Zoran those Jackets are killers the lost gear really adds up. You both worked hard for that feed.
  4. Thanks Zoran. I have been using that method for probably the last 5 years and it works well. I have been toying with changing to this one but haven't been out much lately. I don't think I'd ever get to this standard though.
  5. Well done yowie. It's interesting to see the kings are about.
  6. I was just driving home thinking about Burrill and there is your report. Did you catch the blackfish on nippers or worms?
  7. If your around the Holsworthy area I will give you some.
  8. I haven't had a decent crack a the black fishing thing. Only a couple of goes with my uncle who had them worked out. He mostly used tiny bits of sheet lead folded over and squeezed onto the line and he caught plenty.
  9. I agree the transom mounted pump might not be as tidy but it works great.
  10. I struggled with my laptop with dodgy keys for 2 years before I realised I could replace the keypad for 20 bucks
  11. Awesome report and congrats on three PBs in the day. The harbour just keeps producing.
  12. It looks like a well thought out set up Zoran. What do you use for the weights on the deep drop.
  13. Nice one a few flatties for a feed. How big was the king?
  14. Thanks for that much appreciated.
  15. It may not of helped in this situation but it's further proof the bureaucrats will tell us one thing and do another. It's very sad and disappointing to here stories like this. https://www.newcastlestar.com.au/story/6356437/qld-coroner-lashes-fisheries-over-alerts/?cs=7
  16. Superb write up mate and congrats on the cracking snapper. You have me wondering with the weight. My PB of 71 I thought was about 5kg.
  17. I only ever use 91 in my boat. but when that site refers to the federal government rules are they US or Aussie rules.
  18. Kind of like saying put it in if you have no other choice and don't blame us when it goes pair shaped.

    Boat Law

From memory.... 5hp or more the boat needs rego. It's legal to operate a boat at a speed less than 10 knots without a licence even if it's capable of more. I think learning the rules and getting a licence is the smart thing to do especially if the boat is capable of 10knots.
  20. You deserved a cracking fish after the effort you put in. Well done on sharing your method too.
  21. Well done what a buzz on light gear. Nice report too.
